AC Yule have achieved the Environmental Standards 14001 in all divisions Over the last 18 months, AC Yule, leading Glass, Aluminium and PVCu Company, have been ensuring that all of their sites are working to and achieving the Environmental Standard 14001.

Attaining this prestigious standard for Tayside Windows has resulted in all 7 operational sites now being accredited to this standard by BSI.

Commenting on the achievement, Quality and Environmental Manager, Ron Milne, added "There has been a lot of work involved in achieving these standards however significant benefits have been seen at the sites in terms of better housekeeping standards and financial savings resulting from focus on gas, electricity and water spends. In addition by working closely with our suppliers, we have been able to recycle a range of packaging materials. We have set clear targets and objectives to ensure that we can implement our continuous improvement programme."
